2 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 03/10/2025 - 11/22/2025 Farm Crew Members are responsible for the following tasks: - Nursery Work: planting, weeding, mulching, irrigating, transplanting, potting, grafting, and harvesting trees, shrubs, and perennial wildflowers. - Propagation Orchard Work: planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, and harvesting from trees in our propagation orchard. - Tree Planting, Invasive Species Management, and Landscape Work - planting, weeding, mulching, and watering new orchards and ecological plantings; clearing and controlling invasive species; deer fence maintenance; mowing and weed whacking. - Biochar-Compost Preparation and Application: the worker will assist in the preparation of wood feedstock (i.e. split firewood from farm's own wood logs), mixing compost with biochar for application to nursery beds and orchards, packaging biochar-compost soil amendments for use on the farm and for sale. - Order Fulfillment: bundling, labeling, and preparing orders of bare-root trees and shrubs and potted trees, shrubs, and wildflowers for farm pickup and shipping. - Tractor operation: operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and attachments, self-propelled machinery to move materials, compost, wood, etc. - Worker must have a valid driver's license to operate farm vehicle (pick-up truck RAM 3500). Requirements: * Three months experience of the duties mentioned * Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds * Employer will provide training - 3 months * Driving requirement.
