NY1494820 Join the HMI/Pratt & Whitney team. Staffworks is recruiting to fill Machine Operator positions. Qualifications: Must have High School diploma or equivalent. Must be a US Citizen due to government contracts. Must have 3-6 months of CNC machine experience. Must have knowledge of basic machine shop practices. Must have knowledge and understanding of basic shop mathematics. Experience using a variety or precision measuring instruments. Ability to lift to 25 lbs. independently. Must be physically capable of bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, overhead reaching, standing on feet for long period of time (up to 8 hours), and climbing stairs. Essential job functions: Run written programs for CNC machines to produce production parts. Perform simple machining operations. Other job duties as directed. Adhere to all EH & S guidelines. Adhere to all ACE guidelines and perform ACE duties as required. Various shifts available. Pay rate: $19.00/hr. Apply online at http://www.staffworkscny.com
