Join our Electric Construction Operations team at Colorado Springs Utilities as an Electric Construction Quality Specialist. Here you'll find more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to lay down roots in a thriving community with an employer of choice. In this job, you will be responsible for meeting operational needs and inspecting contractor crews and electrician installations on our distribution & transmission system. In this position, you will work with Planning and Engineering, Construction & Maintenance, and Distribution Control performing a wide variety of technical duties. You will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance on job sites for both internal & external customers.

As an Electric Construction Quality Control Specialist, you will be:
Starting pay for this classification is $58.80/hr. Once you have successfully completed probation your pay will increase to $61.74/hr.
Who you are…Qualified applicants must have completed a Line Technician Apprenticeship program. Also, at least two years of experience working as a journey-level line technician is preferred.
A valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required
