Assembler Schedule: Monday-Friday from 6:00am-2:00pm Location:
Germantown, WI GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB The employee is responsible for
the assembly of machines and accessories and will need knowledge in
electrical and mechanical assembly. The lead assembler will be
responsible for assisting the supervisor and leadership team to ensure
the team has the information and resources to successfully complete
customer orders. This person provides updates and makes recommendations
to leadership on the best way to meet the customer needs. The lead
assembler is a champion and peer role model for the concepts of safety,
quality, continuous improvement, and customer focus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide daily line status updates to supervisor as
required, conduct daily shift start Tier 1 GEMBA Assist the supervisor
in assigning work to team members, make recommendations Provide feedback
to leadership on possible behavioral and/or performance coaching
opportunities Assist team members to escalate material shortages and
inventory discrepancies Champion communication to peers for safety,
quality, ECNs, in area of responsibility Advocate for Design for
Assembly and Continuous Improvement ideas and suggestions Electrical and
Mechanical assembly of machines and machine options Set up and test
machines to ensure they are working properly Troubleshoot and repair
assembly errors quickly and effectively The ability to read electrical
schematics and engineering drawings Provided feedback to engineering to
aid in product development. May be assigned in-house repair of machines.
