Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Purpose: An NIH-funded
postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. William Drobyski in the
Departments of Medicine and Microbiology and Immunology at the Medical
College of Wisconsin that is focused on transplantation immunology and
immuno oncology. We have ongoing projects focused on the immunobiology
of allogeneic bone marrow transplantation, the pathophysiology of graft
versus host disease (GVHD), and cancer immunotherapy. Specific areas of
interest include inflammatory cytokine networks that contribute to GVHD,
inflammatory cytokine signaling and regulatory pathways that impact the
development of tolerance, modulate anti-leukemic responses, and induce
pathological damage particularly within select organs such as the
gastrointestinal tract and central nervous system, and the harnessing
and optimizing of T cell function for cancer immunotherapy using
genetically modified mouse models, flow cytometry, q-PCR, RNA-seq,
western blot, single cell RNA seq, bioinformatics, and other
immunological techniques. We also have a strong record of conducting
translational clinical trials in which a post-doctoral fellow could
contribute and participate. Recent publications include Journal of
Clinical Investigation 2016; 126: 3541-3555, JCI Insight 2017; 2(14):
