JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Are Hiring:Clinical Nurse (RN) - Inpatient
Oncology - 0.9 FTE, 12 hr Nights The Inpatient Oncology unit is an 18
bed unit providing patient & family-centric nursing care, support, and
education to oncology, hematology, end-of-life, and thoracic oncology
patients and their families. Our approach is interdisciplinary and
holistic, as the emphasis is on the entire the focus is on the mind,
body, and spirit along their care continuum. The nursing team works in
collaboration with our Physicians and Advance Practice Nurse partners.
The unit is supported by 35 staff, including 20 RNs, 11 CNAs, and 3
HUCs, in addition to a Staff Development Specialist and Patient Care
Manager. Frequent procedures include administration of chemotherapy,
biotherapy, blood products, IV fluids, growth factors, IV insertion and
management including port access. Shift Details: 0.9 FTE, 3 12 hour
shifts per week. Hours 7pm-730am. Every other holiday and every third

practitioner who integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical
experience in the care of patients and families. Care is delivered using
a deliberate, systematic approach and practice is guided by increasing
awareness of patterns of patient responses in recurrent situations.
These nurses demonstrate a mastery of most technical skills and begin to
view clinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provide
professional nursing care within clinical areas/ campuses as required by
