JOB REQUIREMENTS: Stainless Tank & Equipment Co., LLC seeks a Material
Control Supervisor to manage material replenishments and inventory
levels. Assess production schedules and needs. Streamline material flow
throughout plant and use best practices. Develop appropriate methods to
support production operations and needs. Support inventory control
system of raw material for the plant. Manage material replenishments and
inventory levels. Maintain perpetual records on materials and assist
with audits and physical inventories. Establish and follow protocols for
inventory controls, ordering process, cycle counts and develop a visual
inventory management system. Lead activities to improve receiving,
material storage, and inventory control. Develop processes to improve
inventory levels that provide increased asset turnover consistent with
efficient support of manufacturing activities. Streamline use of ERP
system. Make decisions based on system analysis of material flow.
Perform system analysis for all material transactions for finished goods
and raw material. Manage all aspects of material flow to maintain
control and accuracy over all goods inventories, based on computer
inventory control system. Use of the computer system to manage all
transactions, planning, scheduling, cost, warehouse, receiving and
shipping to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time. Develop,
implement, and manage cross-functional, fully integrated planning
processes. Position requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science,
Engineering (any) or related field of study and two (2) years of work
experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the
required experience was gained. In lieu of a Bachelor\'s degree in
Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field of study and two
(2) years of work experience, employer will accept two additional years
of work experience. Applicants must also have demonstrated experience
with the following: Managing all aspects of material flow to maintain
control and accuracy over all goods inventories, based on computer
inventory control system; Using the computer system Syteline to manage
all transactions, planning, scheduling, cost, warehouse, shipping and
receiving to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time;
Processing development with suppliers to improve deliveries and material
packaging to Stoughton Trailers; Reviewing process flows, work
instructions and charts to improve material flow (supply chain,
Planning, Production and Inventory Control) using QMS / ISO 9000 tooling
and techniques; Developing, implementing, and managing cross-functional,
fully integrated planning processes via Work instructions and process
development based on QMS and ISO 9000; and Continuous Improvement
Project for implementation and maintenance of inventory accuracy metric
