The Manager, Engineering is a member of the Drug Product PET Technical Team and will manage/oversee the engineering team consisting of line engineers, process engineers and maintenance technicians. This position is responsible for ensuring operation and maintenance of all assets within the operation and leading improvement initiatives as the technical expert and acts as technical support for all project related work. This includes coordination of technical resources, technical trouble shooting and process improvements. This position requires collaboration with operations, engineers, other leaders, and OEM suppliers.

Ensure there is one validated technical process with critical process parameters, material fit for use, material specifications and operating procedures are clear and deliver a capable process.
Own asset reliability and performance.
Drive and support OEE initiatives.
Develops project justification and engineering proposals.
Supports technical trouble shooting
Drive root cause analysis and perform/facilitate technical investigations and assessments
Maintain external technical relationships and collaborates with equipment and material suppliers
Provide technical guidance, career development and performance management for engineering and technical team members.
Author and review documents including Standard Operation Procedures, Batch Records, Rework procedures, Material Specifications, Equipment Specifications, Validation Protocols and Engineering Reports
Provide input for new asset procurement
Initiate Change Controls, Deviations and CAPAs
Key contact for regulatory inspections as technical process owner
Accountable for training team members on equipment, processes and Standard Operating Procedures that are new or have been modified to support a new products, new market launches or new clients.
Works collaboratively within operation/facility as well as with other engineers and technical community, locally and globally.
Serve as the engineering leader and technical expert.
Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in GMP or regulated production environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Strong technical background
Problem solving and project management skills.
Ability to provide work direction to a team of technical personnel
Expertise in at least one of the following: automation/ controls, aseptic/ packaging equipment, process/materials, maintenance, validation, and project delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Pharmacy, related Science or business.
Previous supervisory experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
Problem solving and project management skills
Ability to challenge and adapt current approaches/ways of working
Proven ability to work with all levels within and outside of the organization

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $105,000.00 - $138,750.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
