What you will be doing:
Flow-Rite's Injection Mold Process Technician will be a Help First individual who produces quality molded products by Thinking Beyond Tomorrow to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mold and material changes as required.
- Perform process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to ensure part conformity and quality.
- Monitor and prepare support equipment as needed.
- Perform machine start-up, shut down and processing changes.
- Perform process set-up on various types of molding machines.
- Communicate with the quality department on all non-conforming parts and improvement suggestions on process control.
- Ensure machine cycle times and set-up parameters are accurate.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assures housekeeping standards are met.
- Maintain shift process logs.
- Troubleshoot processing problems.
The stuff you know:
- Commit to operating by the company's core values.
- High school diploma and/or GED preferred.
- Experience in operating a forklift truck and overhead crane.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Manual and finger dexterity.
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or overtime as required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong customer focus.
- Effective communications skills utilizing a variety of methodologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with proven ability to work within the framework of the Team.
- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic atmosphere.
