JOB REQUIREMENTS: Global Sourcing Manager Lamplight has been in business
for over 50 years and continues to grow year over year with innovative
products such as the TIKI Brand Patio Fire Pit and Bitefighter LED
String Lights. This is an exciting time to join Lamplight and help us
GROW FASTER and RAISE THE BAR! As the Global Sourcing Manager you are
responsible for global supply strategy development, contract
negotiations, new supplier identification and strategic sourcing of
finished goods and sub-components that deliver optimum results for
Lamplight\'s business. The position will also have responsibility to
maintain the supplier relationships, annual negotiations and proactive
development of supply opportunities outside of China for supply
resiliency. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Create and execute global sourcing
strategies that deliver on Lamplight\'s business needs, supports W.C.
Bradley\'s integrated global supply base initiatives for supply chain
optimization, supplier consolidation and supplier relationship
management. Identify and develop new global manufacturing partners that
provide value to both Lamplight and W.C. Bradley\'s globally integrated
supply base with solutions driving speed to market, implementation of
innovative technologies, higher product quality levels, and competitive
total costs. Drive supply chain resiliency through discovery and
development of new supply opportunities outside of China with the goal
to reduce supply chain risks and to lower total costs, delivery lead
time and inventory. Responsible for Lamplight\'s annual global quoting
and negotiation process for upcoming seasons including using current
commodity and currency trends that result in most favorable results for
Lamplight. Lead the global sourcing teams with all NPD activities,
bringing expertise relative to product sourcing, project deliverables,
supplier management and make vs buy evaluations. Provide direction,
leadership and mentoring to members of the global sourcing team that
support Global Supply Chain leadership policies, initiatives, and goals.
Develop and execute process improvement initiatives that drive
operational improvements and productivity for Lamplight. YOUR
QUALIFICATIONS Business Degree in Business Administration, Engineering,
Supply Chain, or related field of study. Three to Five years supplier
sourcing experience within a global supply chain environment.
Demonstrated experience in relationship, negotiation, and supplier
contract management. Demonstrated knowledge of project management
techniques and processes and working in a cross-functional product
development environment. Experienced in using SAP ERP and IBP tools.
Ability and willingness to travel within the United States and
