The Clinical Outcomes Manager (COM) is an expert nurse who possesses advanced knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide excellent nursing care. The COM partners with the unit nurse, Nurse Manager, and physician leaders to drive unit-level improvements. The COM partners with healthcare team members and leaders to coordinate care and manage resources with a focus on quality, patient safety, and outcomes. The COM is self-directed and acts as an effective leader, catalyst for change, advocate for Shared Governance, and facilitator of evidence-based practice to achieve measurable improvements in quality metrics.



MSN, CNL, or Master's Degree in related field with BSN and 3 year's nursing experience. Strong clinical, interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent presentation skills, influencing and relationship building skills. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and approved national specialty certification. Licensed to practice as Professional Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or have an active Multi-State Registered Nurse Compact License.



Doctor of Nursing Practice. 5 years or more of experience in nursing position with a focus on improving patient outcomes, quality, or process/performance improvement. Previous leadership experience in a similar setting.
