Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will own financial accounting activities for the assigned business units of BGB Group. As part of a well-established and growing finance team, the Senior Accountant will support our Assistant Controller in maintaining a solid and robust finance function that can scale and keep pace as the business develops.
Responsibilities:
- Record general ledger transactions and reconcile to supporting information
- Prepare monthly detailed reconciliations including cash, accounts receivable, and payables
- Perform corporate credit card reconciliations
- Review financial reports by providing timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets
- Assist with the preparation of annual budget, financial forecasts, and financial outlook of the agency
- Work closely with auditors by providing schedules and analytics as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve processes throughout the finance department
- Partner cross-functionally with Account Services, Business Operations, and Project Management terms
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of accounting and financial management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA is a plus
- US GAAP and labor law knowledge required
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Professional services industry experience required; advertising preferred
- Active CPA license a plus
- NetSuite Agency a plus
- ADP experience a plus
- OpenAir experience a plus

Salary range: $85,000-$105,000
The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
