and Responsibilities Efficiently and adequately apply powder paint to
product by performing the following duties Is knowledgeable of the
function and capability of equipment, systems and guns necessary for
applying powder paint to customer product. Understands and performs
color change procedures Understands the quality requirements and
notifies the supervisor or corrects all situations that may result in a
nonconforming part Observes paint booth operation to detect defects or
machine malfunction Is trained in the use of and is medically approved
to use half face and air supplied respirators Reads and understands job
order or product specifications Assists on the line as needed in
plugging, masking, hanging and removing product Has the ability to add,
subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals Has the ability to read and
comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Requirements Successfully pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates
your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and
problem-solving skills Problem solving skills Has a high school diploma
or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience Able to operate forklift and overhead crane Knowledge of
equipment (cranes, shears, saws, motors, burning equipment) Successful
candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as
