UW Medical Center-Montlake - Transplant has an outstanding opportunity to hire a Program Coordinator - UWM Patient Scheduler in Liver Care.

WORK SCHEDULE
  • 40 hours per week, Day Shift

  • POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • This position performs work using knowledge and experience specific to the liver care and hepatology programs
  • Be a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are First

  • PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of liver care line provider calendars and schedules and purchases of clinic and office supplies
  • Manage, coordinate and implement Transplant Grand Rounds program
  • Coordinate and schedule diagnostic tests  and consultative appointments necessary for transplant evaluation and transplant care or hepatology care, including independently prioritizing the needs of program clients, and coordinates ambulatory (outpatient) continuum of care for transplant and hepatology patients
  • Manage and coordinate patient files
  • Participate in ongoing process improvements, maintenance and development of routines, standards and goals
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of data
  • Support transplant and hepatology service activities

  • REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in a program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
