The posted compensation range of $14.78 - $20.33 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CHI Health St. Elizabeth founded by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration in 1889 is a full-service 260-bed nonprofit regional medical center in Lincoln Neb. St. Elizabeth specializes in the treatment areas of newborn and pediatric care women’s health burn and wound cardiology oncology emergency medicine orthopedics and neuroscience.
Responsibilities
One 12-hour shift/week. Additional opportunities when fellow employee is away.
Those best qualified will be contacted by email.
1. Visits patients to confirm daily menu selection, all patient food and diet related needs. Communicates diet-related needs to clinical team members.
2. Accurately completes patient tray process: menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery to patients
And pickup as assigned, special request and off-time meal deliveries.
3. Must transport ReTherm cart (and/or room service transport cart) to and from the Food and Nutrition department, patient rooms and various hospital locations.
4. Works cooperatively with team members, patients, and patient unit staff; coordinating customer services.
5. Ensures Patient Satisfaction score for the department is met.
6. Ensures accurate and timely processing of patient information from written and verbal communication. Communicates appropriately to the diet office staff.
7. Promotes customer satisfaction by courteous, confidential service. Resolves all customer requests in a timely manner. Conducts Hospitality Rounds following each meal. Provides caring and responsive service to patients on a daily basis.
Qualifications
Preferred:
Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care in a hospital setting and/or 1
year minimum in food service.
Knowledge equivalent to a high school education.
