This position is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of refrigerant-based HVAC/R equipment across the MSU Bozeman campus. 3. Familiar with equipment of the HVAC/R industry such as welding, soldering/brazing, digital multi-meter, recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, etc. 4. Demonstrated competence using personal computers and software. |

Position Special Requirements/Additional Information | Must possess a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and meet all State of Montana requirements to operate State/University vehicles. (If successful candidate possesses a valid out-of-state driver’s license, must obtain a valid Montana driver’s license within 60 days of hire.) This position can be hired at one of four levels:
An in-house Training Program is in place for Refrigeration Technicians to acquire additional skills.
