JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Under the Direction of the 414
LIFE Program Director, the Community Program Coordinator will oversee
the advancement of 414 LIFE youth, family, and community engagement
priorities. This role will also facilitate partnerships with schools,
businesses, nonprofits, government, and faith-based institutions.
Primary Functions The Community Engagement Manager will identify,
engage, and support partnerships that advance the mission and priorities
of the 414 LIFE program. Plan and support resident and community
engagement strategies in 414 LIFE priority neighborhoods in coordination
with 414 LIFE leadership team Build and maintain relationships with
schools, businesses, nonprofit, legal system, government, faith-based
institutions to increase awareness, support, and engagement with the 414
LIFE program Coordinate program outreach activities in collaboration
with Outreach Supervisor including acting as a liaison with community
organizations in coordination with leadership team. Represent 414 Life
at community, neighborhood association, public safety, and block club
meetings Anticipate and respond to team requests and needs relative to
canvassing, events, and public education planning. Coordinate the
planning, execution, and assessment of community events and pop-ups.
Document and conduct data entry regarding community engagement
activities and events. Monitor and manage 414 Life social media
platforms Maintain public education inventory and facilitate ordering of
public education material. Plan annual public message campaigns in
coordination with leadership team. Plan and develop curriculum in
coordinator with leadership. Facilitate programming in schools and other
community spaces. Support outreach efforts alongside outreach and
violence interruption teams. Knowledge - Skills - AbilitiesCandidate may
not have pending criminal cases or prior convictions for sexual assault,
child abuse, or domestic violence. Ideal candidates will have excellent
communication skills, experience and/or training in crisis intervention
and staff supervision, and knowledge of Milwaukee communities.
Candidates must maintain a valid Wisconsin driver\'s license and
insurance throughout employment. Good driving record preferred Preferred
Schedule: M-F 10-6pm / some evenings and weekends required Position
