Advertised Job Summary | About The Role of Vice Provost The Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs and Dean of Undergraduate Education reports directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. Essential functions of the position consist of: Oversight of the University of South Carolina undergraduate academic experience including: • The Carolina Core, the university’s general education program • The University Advising Center and the four-year advising initiative • Center for Integrated and Experiential Learning (CIEL), including Graduation with Leadership Distinction. • Living-learning Communities with faculty principals • Graduation and Retention Network (GARNET) • SACSCOC and CHE Accreditation and Compliance |
