Immediate opening for Academic Officer for statewide agency with a minimum 3 years of relative experience in a post-secondary field and a Master's degree in a field of study related to Education, Public Administration, Business or Public Policy. The Commission serves as the coordinating board for the state’s public universities and the Council performs this role for public community and technical colleges. Both are statutorily charged with authorizing private and proprietary postsecondary institutions to operate in West Virginia.
