Responsibilities

Summary:

Our Software Engineers are product focused, giving them the opportunity to work on a product and understand the layers of the software stack. Work includes documentation, automated testing, debugging, working with algorithms and data structures, coding, design, system performance scaling, and problem solving for highly technical and complex software programs. Responsibilities also include providing independent execution of medium-sized projects impacting teams of 3-4 people, contributing to the development of new ideas and principles, and working on long-range programs and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate has to work in the development of micro-services based applications using Go lang programming language.

  • Strong experience in Java C# .NET will also work as long as candidate is willing to learn and work in Golang.

  • Write automated tests that will successfully pass and meet coding standards.

  • Ensure written code adhere to desired performance and quality standards.

  • Debug issues and analyse production alerts

  • Good to have understanding of various coding design patterns.

  • Work with other teams to ensure current sprint's goal's are achieved.

  • Mentor and lead junior team members from a technical perspective.

  • Bring forward ideas to experiment and work in teams to transform ideas to reality.

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field required, Master’s degree preferred

Minimum Experience required: 7+ years product development experience

  • Must be excellent programmer in any programming language e.g. C, C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript etc.

  • Must be quick in reading & understanding existing code.

  • Must be Ready to learn new languages specifically Go

  • Excellent debugging skills.

  • Basic understanding of Git

  • Strong knowledge of software design and architecture best practices
