Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions (a Taylor company) is seeking aSenior OpenText Exstream Dialogue Software Developerto join our team. This critical position will play a key role in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software programming applications.
This position is open to be 100% remote!
Your Responsibilities:
oDesign & develop Exstream templates
oTesting, maintaining, supporting, and documenting templates and document applications
oFluent with document design and Exstream Admin functions
oEnd to end delivery and deployment of Application Packages
oReview code changes for other Exstream developers and approve them for production release
oPerforms testing for developed applications.
oLearn and maintain legacy systems and custom applications
oAssist with creating standards and architecting new client solutions in Exstream.
oAssure that all work performed on projects adheres to standards.
oClearly communicate verbally and in written form - articulating complex thoughts and ideas in small or large group settings
oAble to work well in a collaborative team environment with various personalities
oWork with limited direction on assignments.
oStays current with software and industry trends.
oWork closely with Customer Service and Production to assist with print issues.
oEnsures the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintains records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.
oMentorship of junior developers
You Must Have:
o10+ years' experience object-oriented design/development experience using general purpose languages
o10+ years' experience utilizing OpenText Exstream Composition software, including design, development and implementation of technical solutions utilizing the tool
oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS
oAbility to handle and keep track of a multitude of assignments at one time
oAttention to detail, excellent organization skills and a sense of urgency
oExcellent verbal and written communication skills
oSolid analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
oKeen eye for Quality and process
oEnjoys working as part of a team
oExpertise with Windows development environment
oProven PDF/Postscript Technology Experience (Parsing, Generating, Manipulating)
oSoftware design patterns
oGood interpersonal skills
oProactive Team Member
oNo sponsorship provided
We Would Also Prefer:
oExperience utilizing XML input and output formats
oFamiliarity with one or more programming languages and SQL Server
oPrevious print and mail experience
oKnowledge of other composition tools a plus (Quadient, Compart, Solimar, etc.)
oFamiliarity with Agile development process.
