Inspector is responsible for performing setup, layout, in process, receiving, & final inspections per EE Chicopee's Quality System. The inspector will also be responsible for ensuring continuous adherence to customer and regulatory requirements.

Perform inspection functions following the appropriate EE Chicopee's Quality System: - receiving Inspection of various items, setup, first piece, layout, in-process, and final inspections of mainly airfoils. These inspections will consist of both visual & dimensional inspections as necessary, as well as the verification of material and process certifications.
Ensure all measuring and test equipment used in the above inspections is fully calibrated and in proper working order before use
Verification of documents relating to inspection/quality functions as follows: - material travelers, revisions to inspection reports, blueprints, and CoCs.
Ensuring adherence to EE Chicopee quality standards and procedures
Any other duties as required by the company to ensure that all work area and all work equipment adhere to EH&S requirements

Punctual
Required Skills / Knowledge:
Knowledge of;
EH&S policy and able to interpret EH&S warnings
ISO regulations regarding Quality
ISO Procedures and Work instructions
Layout inspection with blue light scanner experience
Computer software (MS Office, Word, Excel and internet navigation)
Familiarity with Machine shop equipment (CNC machines, lathes, mills, EDM, etc.)
Machine shop theory, shop mathematics and layout techniques
Read and write the English language
Multi-task and prioritize to meet company deadlines
Skilled in the use of dimensional measuring and test equipment, including but not limited to the following: - Micrometers, Dial Calipers, Depth Micrometers, sine plates
Work in a team environment
Read complex blueprint specifications, charts, and follow work orders and engineering instructions as necessary
Read and interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5
Focus on results, even when dealing with diverse, complex tasks for different jobs and projects
Must be detail oriented
Experience:
Minimum 3years of visual and dimensional inspection.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
Professional appearance and demeanor
Good dexterity (grip, grasp, clutch)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours a day
