Anticipated period of employment: 04/07/2024 to 11/11/2024 Plant and harvest fruit & vegetables (peppers, asparagus, squash (green & yellow, butternut), cucumbers, tomatoes, melons (watermelons, cantaloupes), peaches, apples, sweet corn). Use hand tools such as shovels, waterwheels and baskets. Harvesting, transporting from fields and packing the crops. Lay drip tape and plastic and pick up at end of season. Manually plant & weed. Maintain crops by staking, tying, & pruning. All post-harvest handling. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Monday-Friday. Start/end times may vary. Days of week worked will vary Monday-Sunday, rotating schedule. Schedule varies per weather conditions and conditions of the crop/harvesting.
