Posting Summary | The Department of Physics and Astronomy/SAS at Rutgers University plans to hire a Postdoctoral Associate in the field of experimental condensed matter physics. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics and demonstrate excellence in research and strong communication skills. The successful candidate should have a strong background in dealing with ultra-high vacuum systems and nano-fabrication. S/he will synthesize and characterize thin film quantum materials utilizing advanced molecular beam epitaxy and create nano-scale devices by combining topological materials with superconductivity and magnetism, working closely with a number of theorists and experimentalists both within and without Rutgers University.
