Job Description

The Fluid Conveyance SIOP Manager is responsible for managing the demand and capacity outlooks for the North and South American markets; and will aggregate the plants' supply plan by work center into regional and global views to highlight areas of concern and facilitate strategic decision-making at a global level. This position reports to the Global SIOP Manager, Fluid Conveyance. Location is flexible but ideally based in Van Wert, OH; Maumee, OH; or Eden Prairie, MN.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
The Fluid Conveyance SIOP Manager will drive cross-functional alignment between Materials, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to ensure plants have visibility of demand, including strategic growth plans, and that capacity/supply plans are positioned to meet that demand.
The SIOP Manager will lead alignment between the SIOP forecast, the MRP forecast, the Master Schedules, and the Production plans. The SIOP Manager will work closely with the other regional team members to ensure that the ABCQ, PFEP, and Replenishment plans are aligned and supporting SIOP.
The SIOP Manager will assist various project teams focused on strategic initiatives including value stream mapping and production footprint changes. The SIOP Manager is required to co-lead at least one production footprint change project and serve as subject matter expert on another.
The SIOP Manager will contribute to setting and driving the global strategy for the SIOP function to align with organization's strategy to drive value.
The SIOP Manager will oversee the SIOP scope of the SAP implementation with the Americas sites and serve as a subject matter expert for the launch.
The SIOP Manager will be expected to travel occasionally to the sites for which they are responsible (up to 10%).

Required (basic) qualifications
* Bachelor's degree with five years minimum of relevant experience; or ten years of experience in supply chain management, business operations, or data analysis.
* Development experience in Power BI or comparable big data platform.
Preferred qualifications
* MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management
* 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience in a plant environment, ideally in a supply chain or operations role.
* Certification in Power BI, SAP, or Anaplan
Job Criteria
* Thorough understanding of MRP and manufacturing systems
* Procurement or supply chain management experience with global suppliers
* Experience with change management and project management
* Power BI or equivalent development
* Executive presentation experience
