JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Division for Teaching and Learning
(DTL) is looking for a collaborative and experienced leader to serve as
our Financial Manager. The Financial Manager will play a crucial role in
leading the division\'s budget, purchasing, and grant/research
administration processes. The Financial Manager will: -Develop, manage,
reconcile and complete analysis on budget and expenditures for the
division\'s seven departments -Support business planning by assisting
with long-term/multi-year fiscal planning, providing guidance in funding
priorities and new initiatives, and reviewing budgetary impacts of
potential spending changes in collaboration with colleagues and
leadership -Oversee the areas of purchasing, expense reimbursement and
other financial processes -Collaborate with units to integrate
extramural funding into their budgets and support their efforts to meet
the reporting requirements related to sponsored grants, non-sponsored
grants, contracts and agreements -Recommend process improvements and
controls -Provide fiscal management for cross-unit collaborations
-Supervise the financial specialist -Support and participate in
division-wide community building and collaboration efforts -Manage the
IT contractual partnership After significant reorganization and growth,
DTL serves as the central home for campus-level efforts to advance
excellence in the university\'s core educational mission. The division
is home to 130 employees and 160 student employees and manages a budget
of approximately \$13.5M across several funding sources. The division
departments include the Office of Academic and Career Success (OACS),
the Center for Teaching, Learning and Mentoring (CTLM), the Wisconsin
Institute for Science Education and Community Engagement (WISCIENCE),
the Student Learning Assessment (SLA) office, the Morgridge Center for
Public Service, Indigenous Education/Our Shared Future, the Center for
