    SCHEDULE:
    Day shift schedule

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The Assistant Nurse Manager is a supervisory position, responsible for department functions, staffing assignments and care coordination.
  • Collaborates with Assistant Director and Nurse Manager in managing day to day operations and strategic planning
  • Evaluates new employees’ skills, attitude, and philosophy
  • Plans, implements, and evaluates educational offerings to enhance the delivery of quality care and safe practices
  • Establishes effective work priorities, methods, and project flow
  • Participates in unit and organizational committees, taskforces, and work groups
  • Models service excellence in daily practice
    s appropriately to emergency situations and drills

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 years of current or recent surgical/OR nursing experience
  • BLS
  • An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Recent charge or supervisory nursing experience
