Job Description: |
Are you an accomplished HR professional ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dynamic Manager, HR Business Partner to provide day to day support to the VP, HR Business Partner and consult with mid-level and above leaders of our North American Investment and Global Operations teams as necessary to integrate human resource best practices into their decision making and business planning, providing implementation support and tools as needed. Areas of support include human resource planning, leadership effectiveness and training, talent development, organizational design, performance evaluation processes, employee relations, compensation, and recommending measures to evaluate and improve effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and deepen understanding of the area(s) supported. Provide consultation to senior leaders in partnership with VP, HR Business Partner in retaining top talent, improving individual and team performance, and efficiently developing talent within the organization.
Utilize data and analytics to inform HR strategies and decisions. Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve organizational effectiveness.
Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) on the execution of key talent processes, including talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, and employee development.
Work closely with the HR Business Partner team in developing HR strategies and solutions to business issues. Partner with the VP, HR Business Partner and/or Director, HR Business Partner on the research, planning, and analysis phases of creating solutions to complex problems, as well as anticipating HR needs within business lines.
Partner with HR COEs and other staff areas to roll-out enterprise-wide HR policies and programs, offering input and consultation to tailor appropriate communication. Provide leadership through a coordinated implementation approach.
Represent and deliver HR COE products and solutions across multiple business lines and/or remote Ameriprise sites.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience
5-7 years of related experience, preferably in HR Business Partnerroles
Accomplished HR professional with solid organizational relationship and HR experience
Proven ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization. Experience in managing and developing HR teams
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to integrate information from many perspectives and synthesize into meaningful recommendations and solutions
Demonstrated project management, strategic thinking, and tactical implementation skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $82,400 - $142,300 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
