Alfred, NY. Alfred University. Procurement & Mailroom Assistant. FT. Benefits. $15.00-$16.00/Hour. This position will support both the Procurement Services and Powell Campus Center Mailroom Operations. In the mail room they will assist with the processing of USPS and other special carrier deliveries for students with Powell Campus Center mailboxes and all letter mail and intra-campus mail for faculty and staff. In the Procurement Office, they are responsible for supporting internal and external customers when they reach out for assistance. They support the Procurement Office by being the clerical support for the team. Schedule will mainly be half days in each office space, but that may be modified based on departmental needs. This position has been evaluated for compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and is subject to premium pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a payroll week.
