Production Associate-Filler/Strainer

Pay Rate $19.04/hour

2nd shift: 2 - 10:30 pm/ Shift Diff $1.00

As a Production Associate - Filler - Latex, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up, monitor and operate filling and packaging equipment

* Communicate with maintenance and management on issues concerning filling lines

* Ability to understand instructions for proper filling requirements

* Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices

* Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards

* Maintain and improve production line efficiency standards through teamwork

* Produce quality product in the required time frame

* Perform initial draw-down for color and cleanliness

* Perform quality test to check fill weights, proper labeling, and coding

* Perform proper cleaning of filling equipment

* Ability to lift cases and pails of products and load onto filling line as necessary

* Complete daily records as required

* Assist in training other employees

* Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred

* Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division

* Ability to follow detailed instructions and record progress

* Ability to work safely

* Must be available to work overtime and some Saturdays

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

* Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, hoists, scales, and other equipment

* Wearing protective gear including gloves, safety glasses, face shields, ear plugs, hard hats and other PPE as required
