Job Description

Responsible for the strategy, planning, and growth of the Airflex product portfolio. Goal is to ensure that the products meet the needs of the target markets and achieve the business objectives of BU Projects, Systems & Services.

Airflex industrial clutches and brakes are world-renowned for their superior performance, long life and high quality. These outstanding drivetrain products are widely used across many industries, including mining, marine, paper, metalworking, oil and gas, can manufacturing, laundry, logging, roll form and grinding.

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:


Conduct market research and Voice of Customer to identify customer needs, market trends, and competition.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap for Airflex product lines that outlines the product's vision, short & long term strategy.
Execution of the bi-annual product performance and strategy review.
Own the growth map (sales initiatives and NDP process) for Airflex products, follow up with sales teams to provide support and ensure progress
Define product requirements and prioritize them based on customer feedback, business goals, and resource constraints.
Work with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, sales and marketing, to deliver the product to meet the requirements of the market.
Monitor product performance and analyze metrics, such as opportunity pipeline, sales and profitability, to identify areas for improvement.
Communicate with stakeholders, including customers and partners, to gather feedback and align product strategy with business objectives.
Outline the marketing strategy incl. promotion material and online presence.
Participate in exhibitions where applicable to gather market intel and participate as subject matter expert for your products.
Manage the product lifecycle, including product launch, updates, and end-of-life decisions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.

Background & Skills

Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or other related fields
5+ years of working experience in B2B, preferably from the industrial environment.
Product management, project management, sales or engineering background.
Strong understanding of the target markets for dry running industrial brake & clutch products.
Must be able to work in the US, without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
