Position Summary:
Southeastern Food Merchandisers is seeking Class A CDL Route/Delivery Drivers. Our commitment to daily routes ensures that our drivers are home daily, with no over-the-road work. All our vehicles are leased and maintained by Penske, equipped with automatic transmissions, and operate on committed route schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time deliveries and accurate product scanning at multiple stops along scheduled routes.
- Conduct pre/post-trip safety checks on tractor/truck and trailer in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
- Immediately report any safety hazards to the Transportation Supervisor.
- Deliver customer orders according to predetermined route schedules.
- Perform product unloading, scanning, and transportation into designated customer storage areas.
- Conduct damage control checks on items.

Required Qualifications:
- Current valid Class A CDL license
- High School diploma or state-issued GED
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years
- Must pass post-offer drug screen and DOT physical
- Must pass MVR and background check
- Valid DOT Health Card
