Division Information
PACCAR's Information Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA, utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
The Role
PACCAR Information Technology Division is looking for SAP Developer that works on the SAP Cloud Platform to provide IT business process expertise and implement technology to enhance and/or streamline such processes. This position will research and resolve production problems, develop technical specifications from functional requirements for enhancements, and support projects. This position will assume responsibility for the quality and delivery of technology business solutions. The analyst will also be responsible for the design, development and testing of the SAP Cloud Platform components needed to support analytical requirements. The ideal candidate will work as a member of a team to integrate designs into the overall client strategy and provide guidance on how SAP Cloud Platform can be leveraged.

Job Responsibilities & Projects
Develop solutions using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)
Experience with BTP services
Develop quality code and its associated documentation, adhering to team & departmental guidelines
Provide support including analysis, development, testing, tracking, and resolution
Assist SAP Functional Analyst in requirements gathering and validation
Perform technical solution design, unit testing, and technical documents authoring
Assists in resolving production support problems. Develops and suggests alternative approaches to resolving problems
Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews
Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. Identifies issues as appropriate
Required Experience & Skills
1-3 years in Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript experience
Experience with using source code management
Able to translate functional specifications into technical design documents, provide estimates and deliver the desired functionality
Understanding of SAP development concepts, guidelines and SAP architecture
Good communication skills, ability to quickly adapt new technologies
Experience in SAP based web and mobile application developments is desired
Education
Undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science or related field desired in progress or recently completed
