Job Functions / Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for identifying, designing, and coordinating technical/non-technical training for a Manufacturing facility. This includes: curriculum design, development, maintaining training records, preparing training materials, and the facilitation of training for managers, supervisors and employees.
Partner with Corporate Training and the PACCAR Trainer Network on organizational development initiatives for global training programs. This includes working on global training programs in a team atmosphere and sharing best practices between locations.
Develop training strategies for all levels of the organization while partnering with the local leadership team in identifying the needs of the facility.
Manage Internal/External Compliance Training programs to ensure employees are receiving training within scheduled timelines.
Support Lean Training Initiatives by facilitating TWI, Continuous Improvement, and various Lean Workshops.
Support recruitment and talent management efforts including: New Employee Orientation Program, Technical College Programs, Pre-employment Testing, Third-Party certification programs.
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities by determining areas of improvement and seeing those improvements through implementation and monitoring for sustainability.
Work with Third Party vendors to schedule offsite classes for employees where internal courses are not available.
Manage the location's Tuition Reimbursement programs.
Provide support to overall Human Resources department.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field required or a minimum of 10 years training employees in a manufacturing environment.
2-3 years designing training materials/curriculum and facilitating training in small to large groups.
Experience in leading projects and motivating/developing employees.
Experience with Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and Training within Industry preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to interact well with all levels of management.
Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a busy, fast paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Must have a valid Washington State Driver's license.
Salary Information
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors, including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $72,200 - $108,000 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
