Job Description

An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a SECRET Systems Engineer (Campaign Modeling and Simulation) for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: will assess and evaluate weapon systems using analytical and processing tools for combat. Will identify opportunity for package design, order of battle, and multi domain operations effect the outcome of long duration campaigns. This analysis will allow the Department of Defense leadership to make more informed decisions regarding acquisitions of combat systems. Will be required to have a Secret clearance and sit on site 5 days/week.

Required Skills & Experience

Active Secret Clearance

Bachelor's Degree (STEM)

2+ years of experience with modeling and simulation

Experience scripting and/or programming in C++, Python or Matlab

Experience with campaign modeling and utilizing tools such as STORM

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with AFSIM for operational analysis.

Active TS/SCI

Master's degree
