Posting Summary | Rutgers, The Statue University of New Jersey is seeking a Community Liaison for NJMS-Psychiatry. As a member of the Northern NJ Medication-Assisted Treatment Center of Excellence (COE) team, this role builds relationships with our external stakeholders that provide treatment for patients with substance-use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The Community Liaison serves as the clinical representative at community meetings to ensure continuity across all our initiatives. The Community Liaison assists in identifying current resources, community programs, and public benefits to further support our patients in their wellbeing and recovery. Physical Demands and Work Environment | PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing. No special vision requirements. Lifting up to 25lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment includes both office-based services, hospital-based settings, and community outreach. Individual wellness checks and crisis intervention required. Subject to unpredictable situations, patient crises, to include behavioral, medical and psychiatric crisis. |
