Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for its Worthington facility in Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of equipment, preventative maintenance, improvement initiatives, troubleshooting, working with vendors/suppliers, specifying parts, and maintaining accurate data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construct, install, PM and repair various maintenance related items throughout the facility
Complete all preventative maintenance responsibilities on schedule
Reorganization and rearrangement of the facility
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair
Installation, setup, and repair of equipment and facility items.
Actively maintain an organized inventory (sourcing parts, minimizing on-hand inventory)
Perform building maintenance and construction related duties as assigned
Ensure all equipment & facility items are in an operational state
Operate machine shop equipment (Drill press, milling machine, saw, belt sander, shears, rotex punch, hand tools and power tools)
HVAC troubleshooting and repair
What You Need to Succeed
A High School Diploma is required
A minimum of 3 years of maintenance technician or related experience is required
Associate Degree in a related field or Trade School diploma is preferred
HVAC experience is preferred but not required
Ability to work with minimal or no supervision; ability to communicate, plan, and organize for themselves effectively
