Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to build and set up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data integration solutions using ETL tools, SQL scripts, and other methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and meet data integration requirements.
- Work alongside data scientists to implement data cleaning and processing tools in a Python notebook environment.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data warehouses and data lakes.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across platforms.
- Adhere to and enforce compliance with relevant data security and privacy regulations.
- Create and update documentation pertaining to data integration processes and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration.
- Continuously assess and enhance data integration technologies and methodologies.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data integration technologies and best practices.
Basic Qualifications:.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data integration, data warehousing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python programming and SQL for database management, including hands-on experience with existing code bases.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud-based services, specifically EC2 for compute and S3 for storage, to optimize cloud infrastructure usage.
- Expertise in data engineering, including data modeling, normalization, and creating detailed documentation for data systems and processes.
- Understanding of ETL pipelines and data transfer protocols, with knowledge in managing workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading to support analytics.
- TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences, including performing advocacy tasks such as elevator pitches and product demonstrations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark ecosystems, particularly in distributed big data technologies.
- Ability to manage contextual unstructured or semi-structured data, such as narratives and PDFs.
- Skills in integrating multiple Product Service Lines into a cohesive system architecture, demonstrating capability in modular systems integration.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, and other back end microservices from third-party vendors.
- Leadership experience in managing Agile project sprints, possibly involving project management or team leadership responsibilities.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
