The Irrigation Technician is responsible for inspection and maintenance of
irrigation systems on commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities include:
System start-ups, evaluation and winterization
Effectively assess water efficiency and make adjustments to quickly correct
over or under watering.
Perform irrigation system checks and perform irrigation repairs as needed.
Trouble shoot wiring in field and at controller
Sprinkler system diagnosis and repair
Install and Program Controllers/Timers/Clocks
Write out bills and a description of work performed
Perform additional tasks as necessary
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
High school or equivalent
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Must be able to understand, read, write and speak fluent English
Ability to use computer, tablet and knowledge of emails and texting
Experience working productively with little supervision
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional long hours as needed
2-5 years industry experience
Knowledge of irrigation system, irrigation parts and proper names
Ability to use a wire locator
