Overview: The Sullivan County Center for Workforce Development is seeking Part-time Seasonal Crew Leaders in Sullivan County. Crew Leaders are responsible for the day-to-day supervision and safety of youth participants in a summer youth employment and training program. The Crew Leader provides guidance and direction while leading participants in the performance of assigned job tasks. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either: (A) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents with a Bachelors degree or higher; or (B) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents with an Associates degree and two (2) years of experience in providing teaching support services, counseling, guidance counseling or vocational/employment counseling; or (C) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four (4) years of experience as described in (B) above. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT(S) FOR APPOINTMENT: Employees in this class will require access to transportation to meet field work requirements made in the ordinary course of business in a timely and efficient manner. Shift and Salary; This position is a part-time, 6 week, seasonal position, 30 hours a week, Monday - Thurs, $25 hour.
