JOB VACANCY: Environmental Health Aide / Seasonal / Full-Time / Non-Benefited LOCATION: GH Office Bldg SALARY: $18.92 / hour (Grade 4) FILL DATE: Blanket Fill as needed. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: An employee in this class performs a variety of subprofessional tasks in the environmental sanitation unit of the Health Department. The work is performed under direct supervision of a technician or sanitarian. Supervision over the work of others is not a responsibility of an employee in this class. Does related work as required. FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS: Some knowledge of the principles of natural science; ability to make simple arithmetic computations; ability to make simple field measurements observations, sketches and diagrams; ability to get along well with others; courtesy; accuracy; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None.
