Job Description

 
Farm Equipment Operator Responsible for maximizing the cleanliness of youngstock barnyards, operating field equipment and performing tasks in regards to the functioning of farm work through various tasks. All work will align with the quality and quantity of the core mission of the farm. Communicates effectively. Team Player. Ability to relate with fellow employees with different cultural backgrounds, skill sets and language. Ability to follow-through with duties as assigned. Ensure compliance with animal care standards according to FARM protocols. Preferred Qualifications: -Familiarity with a variety of day-to-day farm operations, including barnyard maintenance, manure processing and field tillage operations -Operate multiple pieces of equipment and trucks, as per license allows -Diligently maintains equipment -Communicates any mechanical and building maintenance needs Work hours are 7:30am - 6:00pm, depending on the needs of the farm. Paid weekly. $15/hour - $20+/hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid vacation, holidays and sick time, along with health insurance and retirement. 1 or more years experience preferred, but will consider a trainee. Current Driver's License required, CDL preferred.
