We are currently hiring for classroom support staff at our Bedford location: 

  1. Provide daily supervision of children. 

  1. Assist Lead Teacher with implementation of FrogStreet Curriculum. 

  1. Oversee and facilitate the general safety of the classroom environment and its activities including outside play. 

  1. Actively engage and encourage the children to engage in classroom activities, which includes Chapel.  

  1. Monitor and maintain, in good repair, all materials and equipment used in the classroom and on the playground. 

  1. Assist Lead Teacher to monitor and maintain inventory and supplies used and needed. 

  1. Interact with children through instructional methods to include play, music, arts and crafts, reading, writing, science and gross motor activities. 

  1. Promote and foster each child’s positive self-esteem and individual development toward fullest potential in the areas of physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. 

  1. Establish and maintain a positive interpersonal relationship with all children, fellow staff, and parents/guardians.   

  1. Assist children with personal care activities to include toileting, feeding, and cleanliness needs in relation to age/stage of development. 

  1.  Prepare food, serve food, and clean-up of meals and snacks as necessary. 

  1.  Establish a positive relationship with parents.  Concerns, issues, progress reports, and parent conferences will be handled by Lead Teachers.  Questions relating to these should be directed to the Lead Teacher or a member of the admin team. 

  1. Parent questions regarding program policy should be directed to an administrator. 

  1. Parent questions regarding enrollment, tuition, or billing should be directed to the office manager. 

  1. Work closely with classroom staff to create a team atmosphere. 

  1. Attend and complete required trainings, staff meetings, and parent meetings. 

  1. Perform general and deep cleaning classroom duties as necessary and outlined in the employee handbook as well as assigned by Lead Teacher or administration. 

  1. Document incident reports accurately and efficiently. 

  1. Adhere to all established center policies and state regulations. 

  1. Perform other related duties as assigned by Lead Teacher and administration.

  2. 2 years experience of working with children required. Can be volunteer, babysitting, coaching or a paid position.  Must be 18 years old. Must be able obtain clearances and complete preservice trainings.
