Our 87,000-square-foot hospital features advanced technology, including state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, Diagnostic X-Rays and Women’s Imaging Services, as well as Nuclear Medicine technology unique to our surrounding counties. Position Summary:
Performs physician defined routine and specialized ultrasound procedures. Performs complex tasks associated with the operations of ultrasound equipment to produce high quality ultrasound images. The ultrasound technologist is responsible for maintaining a safe ultrasound environment at all times.

Minimum Education:
Must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority at the time license and/or certification was granted.
Minimum Experience:
Must have successfully completed an accredited ultrasound educational program and be registry eligible.
Licensure Requirement:
Must obtain ultrasound specific registration within 1 year from date of hire in either ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI. State licensure in accordance with Tennessee guidelines.
