production assembler in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location you will play
an integral role in building drive panels that make motors run more
efficiently. You will have the opportunity to mount components, route
and connect wires, and assemble finished products Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the
following: Assemble drive panels and enclosures utilizing
electro-mechanical components, drives, and wire harnesses. Generate
ideas to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity and
implement ideas when applicable. Ensure quality of work performed by
using visual observation, standard operating procedures, bills of
material, assembly drawings, and test equipment provided. Assist with
maintaining inventory accuracy and communicating material defects to
quality. Gain knowledge of multiple production assembly lines and other
facets of the plant so you can flex to other areas to help achieve
customer delivery dates. Commit to working Monday through Friday from
6:00 am to 2:30 pm (and overtime as needed) and be dependable so your
team can rely on you. Background & Skills Minimum Qualifications High
school diploma or general education degree (GED). Basic computer skills
Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures. Preferred
Qualifications Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic
understanding of electro-mechanical components and their functionality.
Experience assembling panels and enclosures. Ability to read schematics
and engineering drawings. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to
maintain a positive attitude and favorably contribute to a productive
culture. Ability to work productively in a team environment. Strong
verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and adherence to
quality. Ability to use handheld electrical assembly and wire
preparation tools. Ability to inspect your own work and the work of
