Job Description:
Columbia Management, an Ameriprise Financial company, is seeking a Client & Account Administration Analyst to be based in Minneapolis, MN.

The position is accountable to perform daily activities to coordinate institutional client facing processes such as client reporting, on boarding and termination events. Gather data from multiple sources and across various internal and external business teams, evaluate and determine if the data is accurate, and then produce the final deliverable such as a successfully on boarded new client account or a client report package. Accountable for issue identification, root cause analysis and recommending and executing viable solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Focus on the production oversight of Performance and Reporting business as usual deliverables and issues which impact reporting deliverables.Responsible for day-to-day monitoring of timely and accurate information inputs needed across deliverables to ensure they are on track.

Review Performance impacted issue and impact on reports. Communicate issue to client reporting.

Monitoring of performance and reporting metrics as well as the impact performance's metrics have on reporting.

Ensure tasks and resources are assigned, monitor progress to ensure goals are on track, proactively identify and minimize issues/risks, and provide management and/or organizational updates and status reporting.

Initiate deep dive analysis to determine root causes of any late reports with corresponding remediation for prioritization.

Support client change process with investor reporting.

Communicate mandate changes to reporting.

Assist project orientated initiatives to support performance and reporting goals.

Root cause analysis and initiatives over North America.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years' experience in the financial services industry
Strong leadership competencies and execution skills by way of cross-collaboration and workflow facilitation with multiple internal business partners.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data, reach conclusions, and act.
In-depth knowledge of business operations and processes with ability to conduct process improvement efforts.
Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues; ability to present and influence on recommendations.
Must be highly responsive and proactive in a fast-paced changing environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Client relationship management experience
Familiarity with Blackrock, Vermilion Reporting Suite, MoneyMate
Institutional Reporting experience
Knowledge of accounting and portfolio analytics
