Core Responsibilities 

  • Develop a daring and clear product vision and communicate it optimally to relevant partners and collaborators, so they’re aligned, invested and passionate about LEGO’s strategic direction 

  • Translate business strategic goals into a prioritised product roadmap, identifying and generating new insights that grow market share, drive commercial and business value and improve colleague or customer experience 

  • Gain the key outcomes that the business wants to achieve, the timeline and the metrics that will ultimately define the product’s success. Define the quarterly product objectives and key results in-line with these strategic goals. 

  • Identify and communicate the value releases to the business in-line with the product roadmap 

  • Lead product discovery with the team, researchers, and wider partners to develop, experiment and test new insights that help shape the value proposition 

  • Working with UX specialists, integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to improve user satisfaction and ensure user centred design 

  • Ensure communication around priorities, developments and changes are clearly understood by partners across the business 

  • Take ownership for crafting user stories, and ensure there are sufficient number of user stories that have been refined and estimated by the team for upcoming sprints 

  • Successfully identify risks and mitigations that remove risk and uncertainty early in product development 

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Supply Chain, providing insight, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required.

This role plays a critical part in modernising our Supply Chain and Demand Planning capabilities with the digital products optimising the demand planner experience as we fulfil the needs of our customers around the world. 

A Product Manager at The LEGO GROUP is accountable for the success of their product, setting the product vision and strategy in close alignment with their partners and supported by dedicated teams of Engineers, Digital Designers, Architects and Agile Coaches, amongst others.  

Do you have what it takes? 

  • Good knowledge of the business domain and technology landscape in Demand Planning 

  • A phenomenal communicator and ability to clearly articulate the problem, collecting requirements and communicating proposed solutions 

  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design and business to create an aligned product vision 

  • Ability to understand and draw out key themes and trends from analysis of customer and market data 

  • Technically curious, with a good understanding of software development practices and web/mobile technologies 

  • Able to make and take ownership for decisions at a fast pace 

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrixed organisation 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Great at providing feedback in a way that is both specific, constructive and substantial 

  • Confirmed experience in developing and maintaining solutions in an agile, DevOps environment 

  • A consistent track record of leading cross-functional agile teams through the full product life cycle 

  • Knowledge of SAP, and/or other SCM solutions an advantage 

  • Experience in leading products at scale within an Enterprise context also advantageous
