General Purpose
The Application Support Administrator supports authorized applications to
including installing, configuring, testing, monitoring, and
troubleshooting of software, hardware, communications and underlying
operating systems.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

System analysis techniques and procedures are exercised, including
consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system
functional specifications.
Application security process, user setup, role privilege definition,
assignment, and security permissions.
Release upgrades and patch installation for assigned systems to keep all
systems up to date.
Application underlying operating system updates, patches, and
troubleshooting. May work with other teams on this.
Researching information for system requirements on upgrades and future
release.
Giving input on plans for future directions and platforms for system hardware
to coincide with the long-term priorities, goals, and needs of the
organization.
