EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance;
- 5+ years of experience as an accounting role; or
- A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
- Knowledge of Construction accounting, payroll and CPA is desired.

POSITION SUMMARY

Has a primary duty of helping to lead the company, LMA Accounting department, Financial Operations, Analysis, AR, AP and Payroll. Oversee all company purchasing and fleet purchasing. Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least 2 or more full-time employees and interns. Supports the company’s management, purpose, mission, and values.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- First team is the leadership team, leading the company
- Leads and manages the accounting department staff. Has the authority and responsibility to hire, fire, allocate work, provide training, set and inspect performance expectations, evaluate performance, reward and recognize, discipline, and recommend wage changes, promotions, transfers, or any other change of employee status. His/her recommendations are given serious weight in each decision.
- Oversees the company’s accounting function and closely monitors its financial performance.
- Budget clarity and control.
- Controls and maintains general ledgers and other financial and accounting records.
- “WOW” experience for employees and customers.
- Job Costing per service, per location.
- Cash Management.
- Meet KPI goals.
- Materials and fleet purchased at right time and right price.
- Provides accurate, responsive analysis and reporting of financial and accounting information for the company.
- Oversees the accounting staff in preparation of financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, payroll, bank reconciliations, tax filings, and sales & use tax reporting and payment.
- Procures, maintains, and evaluates accounting software.
- Is an ambassador for the company’s culture and purpose.
- Attends and participates in all leadership meetings.
- Regular, reliable on-site attendance.
