Growing company near Elgin has an immediate need for a Lead Estimator on 1st shift. Ideal candidate will have some experience in the flexo printing industry.

Job Specifics: 

Shift: 1st shift

Salary: $60-65 K per year

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and 401 K plans.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Job Summary:

Will be responsible for leading the estimating team and securing orders by efficiently processing customer orders. Develop and execute new products, systems, and procedures designed to improve safety and efficiency.

Job Duties:

-Partner with Sales, CSR, Production, and Project Managers. Finding creative ways to improve customer’s projects via improved quality and or cost savings.

-Assist other estimators by providing guidance.

-Prepare quotes from research and deliver to client within specified time frame.

-Generate cost estimates by determining efficient use of materials (paper, ink, and other components).

-Recommend process changes in order to improve the organization of department.

-Must have strong math skills and attention to details.

-Some experience in LabelTraxx or JD Edwards for estimating duties.

-Fluency in MS Office Suite.

-Five years of experience in printing or labels manufacturing industry.

-Comply with all company policies and procedures.

-Report issues and problems to management team.
